Music
At St. Dominic School, music is available to all grades, from Transitional Kindergarten to 8th grade. Students work to understand the fundamentals of music theory and apply what they learn using their voices and the student keyboards.
Students also train their ears to recognize notes and train their voices to sing beautifully. You can often walk down the halls to hear children’s voices singing scales and songs.

Christmas show
An annual performance for the school community before the Christmas holiday.

Talent show
A celebration before summer break where students use what they have learned in class and, more importantly, express themselves through music.
Meet our music teacher
Mrs. Patricia de Vera runs the program. She works with each class weekly between TK and grade 5 and teaches a weekly elective class for middle school students.
Mrs. de Vera is dedicated to fostering a love and appreciation of music at St. Dominic and does her best to make learning fun.
